Ep 5. Whatcha Waiting For?
or: me & my summer anxiety
Hi hello welcome to a rambly episode that’s just about my thoughts & feelings these days at the near end of summer! Had a lot of feeeelings lately about service, life, age, community, forgiveness, and growth so I got a lil’ stoned, sat down, and chatted with a microphone about some of those realizations.
And about how hearing birds outside in nature is physiologically calming for anxiety because our anxiety is part of the caveman brain that’s trying to alert us about real danger, and if we hear birds chirping, our bodies know that there is no immediate danger. Isn’t that fucking neat?? Anxiety is wild.
Anyway, here’s to hoping for great days ahead and more “afternoon” realizations about the joy of living! (I’ll be back next week with a less self-indulgent episode 🕶)
